That Art Party leads a free bookmark-making workshop right after we read. No experience needed, just hands ready to create.
Then stay a while. Prescott Market has the sandbox, the food, the music, and a summer social hosted by Bay Area Dog Days.

That Art Party is a creative wellness community by and for BIPOC adults, rooted right here in Oakland. They believe making things with our hands is a form of liberation, and they build space for rest, joy, and connection through craft. We couldn't think of a better crew to create alongside.

It was a bit chilly, but we still gathered for storytime! After a few reads, we got into bookmark-making with dried flowers and watercolor, led by That Art Party.
