OVERVIEW
We're starting our Saturday with an abundance of joy! Rob Liu-Trujillo and Tiffany "Ms. Tee" Golden are talented authors and illustrators who captivate the room with their interactive reading styles. This storytime is followed by an art activity the whole family can get into.
FEATURED
Rob Liu-Trujillo was born and raised in Oakland. He is an author and illustrator whose work explores identity, history, family, mixed heritage, literacy, and agency. His recent books include Fresh Juice / Jugo Fresco, which he wrote and illustrated, Art of Rob, a 130-page collection of sketches and drawings, and We Are Yoga / Somos Yoga, written by Jill Guerra and illustrated by Rob.
Tiffany "Ms. Tee" Golden is an author, illustrator, and teaching artist who builds creative spaces where Black children see themselves as storytellers and artists. She has spent more than 20 years working with youth. She is the author of Wash Day and I Want to Be Big, with a middle-grade novel arriving in 2026.
